RedBanner
280zx, dont get z stuff, its zx s130. Follow one of the many instructions for a 510, 610, 710 swap. There all the same parts. Searching is usualy a better way to get better info. Quote Link to comment
Kramer1981
search for my old post about B210 front end lowering...many pieces of good info and advice there. The major concensus seems to be, adjustable strut collars, thicker oil in the struts, 280zx struts, many ideas there. When you say upgrade the suspension, you should probably be more specific. Are you trying to lower, stiffen, reduce body roll, all three? Upgrade is a rather broad term...I think if I were you I would spend some time looking at and driving your car, and decide what you do not like. 1 Quote Link to comment
betojr82
I mean upgrading to a 5 lug front spindle. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I mean upgrading to a 5 lug front spindle. Then you should have said that first off. Try the accepted ways to install 280ZX struts, but use '85-86 300ZX struts instead. That gets you 5-lug hubs. Or even if you can find 200SX V6 struts. Those are 5-lug as well, and very similar brakes to the 300ZX. FYI, any of the easy ways to get 5-lug hubs require running at least 15" wheels, nothing smaller. Quote Link to comment
