ifixvws
Hey all, I picked up a '68 510 and the back end is out of the car. Before I install it to help move it around and what not prior to paint. I would like to replace the bushings in the main rear beam/suspension mount. Bushings at the top of the picture. I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I did a search of rear bushings and nothing came up. Quote Link to comment
D52E
I dont believe the original Nissan parts are available anymore. Your options are a bit limmited: 1) NOS set 2) Good used set (not likely to be found easily) 3) Aftermarket polyurethane http://www.racetep.com/datsunsusp.html 4) Solid metal bushings (problably not a good option for a street car) http://dpracing.co/5...Suspension.html Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
55466-A4600 for the rubber about $40 each. 55466-A4625 is a replacement kit. May include the washers nuts and bolt ... about the same price. Good luck, I have no idea if still available or not. It was also used on the 610 IRS Quote Link to comment
ifixvws
Thanks D52e. For those that have the bushings in Poly. Are they noisey/squeaky? Firmness is not a problem but squeaking poly bushings drive me crazy. Thanks Chad Quote Link to comment

D52E
I looked on the US side and the 2 Nissan part numbers dont show any stock. Maybe Canada might still have some? 55466-A4600 55466-A4625 Quote Link to comment
Silver04rs
Just currious as to how you removed the stock ones? Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Just currious as to how you removed the stock ones? I've always torched the old bushings out. Some people drill a bunch of holes or slice through them with a dremel. Then peel them out. I like the torch method personally. Quote Link to comment
D52E
I recently pulled some worn out ones out of my spare cross-member and they were not too difficult. I went to try and use a hydraulic press but they came out really easy. I could have just hammer tapped them out. Give it a try and if they don't come out easy, you will most likely have to destroy them to remove them. Below is a picture of my poly bushings installed. I got them from from Top-End Performance Quote Link to comment
