I drove over one time... it seemed like a very bad location (an ultra-packed parking lot of shoppers), and the car mix was, like you said, mostly 'drifter/import kids' ... Yes, unfortunately in sf/ bay area its hard to find anywhere that isn't crowded. The lot at gellert is a lot less crowded than the previous spot you mentioned.
