Lopez916
Should i remove my lowering blocks or run a taller tire? right now i have 16 x 7 in the front there like 50series in the rear it has some ugly mag type wheel that are 15 x 7 with 70 series huge. If I try to put the 16 x 7 50 series in the rear my shackle that holds the shock rub the inner wheel which prevents it from turning. This is y im assuming they ran a huge tire in the rear with the 15inch rim. so if I remove the lowering block will this elminate my problem and allow me to fit my 16 x 7's all the way around. 808DA6
You're running into an offset issue. You will need a spacer to run the 16x7's in the rear. Removing the block won't help. -Brian Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
808 is correct. The rims are probably hitting the leaf springs too. Get a 1/4 inch spacer from any tire shop & that should push em out enough. Quote Link to comment
haubstr
I'm running a 1/2" spacer with the same exact rims with 205/40/16... When I had the 4" lowering blocks on it, it was hitting the inside of the tire... I ended up taking out the 4" blocks, taking the leaf springs apart, flipping the main leaf over and putting them back together... I don't recommend this because of how rough the ride is, but I wanted mine low... I think I'm still going to add 1" blocks back in... Quote Link to comment
