Just remember that most Roadster SUs have cable drive to the drum that turns the acceleration shaft. A lot of the attachment hardware is on the intake manifold. Later Roadster SUs have a split shaft with tweaking adjustment for front / rear carb balancing. Sedan versions use a complicated shaft and bell crank assembly instead, possibly easier to hook up to the pedals.

 

Also both carbs are "Left handed", the fuel inlet for both is on the forward side of the car. L16 SUs are right and left handed, fuel delivery is on the outside of the assembly, and accelerator pedal hookup will have to be carefully thought out.
