Not following..

Suck, squish, bang, blow.

A motors 4 cycles.

Induction, compression, ignition, exhaust.

Air and gas go in.

Air and gas get compressed in a closed chamber.

Air and gas get ignited to create an explosion.

Ignited air/fuel mixture is expelled from motor.

Gap your points. See where that gets you.

Do you have a service manual?

The points are in the distributor.

They are what distributes the spark to the plugs.

They need to be at a certain clearance to be able to work.

New ones are cheap.

Feeler gauge is like $4 at Harbor Freight.

Half an hours worth of work will do wonders.

So my 521 is running a lot better! I also have one runnning light working "better than not working at all" and it either the bulb or a wire somewhere.

Almost my everyday truck now all I need is the reverse lights and a new water pump "Don't wanna deal with any leaks".

Thanks again Ratsun!
