JoeR
Hey everyone, is it absolutly critical that I need a front end alignment after I replace my ball joints? I have yet to replace my tie rod ends so I'm wondering if I really need need to get an alignment done anyway. Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
Probably not. But I would get it done as soon as you have the chance. My toe is a little off on my 620, but I'm ignoring it until after I replace my tie rod ends/center link. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
If you are only replacing ball joints, there is no need to have an alignment done. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I've had alignment problems caused by wear on components. Once new ball joints went on it brought the alignment back. If you're not sure have it done after the new parts are on. Quote Link to comment
JoeR
Great, I wasn't sure since I still have to replace my inner and out tie rod ends, which I suspect would have a much greater effect on alignment than new ball joints would. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
After replacing the tie-rod ends, you need to adjust them for correct toe-in. That's all. It won't change the rest of your alignment. Quote Link to comment
