datzenmike Posted July 24, 2012 Report Share Posted July 24, 2012 Definitely not L16/18. Probably a Z20/22/24 ... The L series tend to be smaller for the heater return line... Z series are larger... If you show the top of the timing cover you can tell if L or Z series. The reason for the larger pipe? Well the heater return joins up to coolant lines that run up all four intake runners and then that larger hose joins to this inlet. . Quote Link to comment
