Fitz
I was cruising around the gallery, and came upon 510 Bomber's photo of his hood. http://community.rat...ut-of-the-hood/ Underneath, it seems there's some kind of plenum or round angled adapter. Anyone know how I can do this? Looks pretty sick. (I'd ask him, but seems he's been offline since March. :hmm: ) Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
Well, you can buy the filter at Autozone. Adapter was hand made I'm sure. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
If it's shiny it's worth 5% gain in power. 1 Quote Link to comment
Skib
just a plate and a 90 deg piece of pipe with a generic cone filter Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Wow, 5% is not bad. You'd have to go from 9:1 to 11:1 to gain 5%. Is it important to make the pipe the same size as the carburetor? Quote Link to comment
Fitz
5%, huh? [insert obligatory 'Not Bad Obama' image] Thanks, guys. I wasn't looking for any sort of performance increase from it, just thought a little 'poke through' would be pretty neat. Quote Link to comment
