datzenmike Posted June 15, 2012 Report Share Posted June 15, 2012 Get the intake from a '78 and the exhaust from an L16/18. Looking for a simple and smog free downdraft intake + exhaust headers for a U67 head in a 620. Currently have a combo manifold that is causing me stress. Can pay 100$ Take your intake and make a new plate for the bottom and bolt it on with a gasket. Done! Throw the exhaust manifold away and get an L16/18 exhaust. It's square port and better than a header. You will need to get a new down pipe for the exhaust. Name one advantage of the header over the stock manifold other than weight. Link to comment
