s13 rear suspension advice

Im kinda new to the 510 world and im considering purchasing a 510 with s13 suspension already installed and was wondering if anyone could give some advice on what i should be aware in that area..thanks for any help

need more details what do you mean by s13 suspension? coil overs or has the whole suspension trailing arms and control arms ben swapped ?

Be aware that it is a custom job. Were the welds done properly? Was the suspension geometery done correctly? (S13 suspension has to be narrowed to fit under a 510).

 

Before & After

 

Look closely at the tires (front too, in case they were rotated). Are they worn along one edge? That indicates a suspension problem. Note that bad cupping/shredding on the tires indicates hard cornering but not necessarily a problem

 

Drive it around some corner roads. Handle OK?

Drive it on freeway and do some lane-changing. Still OK?

Do some 3-point turns and paralled parking. Work OK?

Try some U-turns. Notice anything weird? Listen for clicking (bad).

Check it out. If the welds look bad, I wouldnt touch it. If the welds look nice, well then it is time to check a few more things, and to make sure it drives well.
