Skib
you can get either. the ZX one is a larger 15/16th bore. Quote Link to comment
INDY510
. Sounds like he meant the clutch master cylinder ..... ... ...... a 5/8ths stock 610/510 master will work fine ...... some 510 after market masters have a different direction/angle of the clutch line out-put Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Here's what will happen. Your stock MC is a 3/4" diameter. The 15/16" MC from a 280zx has an over 56% larger surface area on the piston. You will have to push 56% harder to produce the same stopping power. In addition the 280zx master is designed for use with rear disc brakes and the residual valve in it will be too weak for use with drums. I installed a 7/8" master from a 200sx in my 710 sedan and the peddle is very firm. It's reassuring, but a lot of work around town. Unless you plan to install a set of zx struts with the much larger calipers and vented rotors I would go with what you have now. Quote Link to comment
Skib
lol derp my bad  didnt read that all the way. 510 or ZX will both be fine still, just make sure the output angle of the line is the same. Quote Link to comment
