NSRz32
Going to replace the shocks on my truck as they're original. Rock auto has a ton of options and I'm leaning towards the KYB's as I've had good luck with them on cars. Any recommendations? The truck is lowered about 3.5 inches btw if that makes a difference Also going to do radiator hoses and Tstat, who offers good direct fit hoses? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
KYB's are good.I dont know as for hoses,i know on ebay there is some oem for sale if that helps. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
GATES hoses are good. I have KYB Gas ajust also but be honest I would just buy the cheap 10-12 dollar shock. KYB Momomax are great but maybe not on a lowered truck maybe get some new heater hoses also from nissanparts.cc. I have part numbers at work Quote Link to comment
NSRz32
Ok good to know! Looks like I'll order up some gates hoses then. I'll probably end up getting the KYB's as they're not that expensive from rock auto anyway. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
heater hoses B7021-B2000 long hose B7020-B2000 heater to head S Shaped. buy 2 sets nissanparts.cc Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
PS if buying a KYB Gas a Just) make sure to keep the plastic strap holding the shock together get evrything installed and the correct bushing. install the lower and cut the strap and have the lower bushing on the shock already. and when shock shoots out point it and guide it in the hole. believe me its hard to compress to get it back out!!!!!!!!! KYB GR2s are just a cheap gas shock I rate same as a Monroe/Garbrial they are not bad for 10-15$ Quote Link to comment
