darrel
I don't plan any big mods with my truck. I like to keep it close to stock. I am just keeping track of some of the hard to find parts we need to keep our trucks on the road. First I needed to buy new steering linkages. I started with idler arm, left and right tie rods. These can be found at Rare Parts for $$. On a thread for a front 620 bumper I decided to check out parts train. So far I have 2 of the 4 items I ordered. The inside door handle trim and the idler arm. The trim won't fit without some mods, file the piece, drill and tap another hole for the screw or fill and re-drill the plastic for the screw. According to the papers and box, the idler arm was made in japan and it was in a moog box. Lining it up next to the old one while still on the truck it looks like it will fit. On another note, if you can believe it, my truck still has the stock exhaust shielding. Quote Link to comment

darrel
Got the passenger side tie rod assembly today. moog box, made in mexico, no other markings except on the metal caps at the tie rod ends-- ctp in some kind of script. Called PT about the other tie rod assembly and they said it's on backorder, but still charged my card. Might try rare parts for that one unless PT can get it first. Quote Link to comment
