Michael.flee92
I was wondering if anyone new the specific length I would have to cut my drive shaft for my KA24E swap? I'll be using a stock drive shafts with a KA24E transmission and motor(obviosuly). And how far back would I need to cut my transmission tunnel for the shifter hole? *sorry if this info is already out there but I have literally searched all day and night. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote Link to comment
VintageRice
Ratsun style. Put motorset in(shifter cover removed) jack up trans, mark it, lower trans cut it out woith sawsall. DO NOT CUT THE BRAKE LINE THAT LIVES RIGHT BESIDE THE SHIFTER THAT RUNS THE LENGTH OF THE TUNNEL. trust me...... I measured using a tape measure yesterday and from the passenger motor mount center bolt to the back of my Ka shifter location I THINK was around 36 inches.. It comes right about to your seat supports in a 2door sedan 510 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
I was wondering if anyone new the specific length I would have to cut my drive shaft for my KA24E swap? Too many variables like motor mounts used. Measure twice cut once. Get the motor and trans mounted in position and measure it yourself. Only way to be sure.... 1 Quote Link to comment
