edakotaford
so i am supposed to be picking up an L20b for my dime in about two weeks. i've heard a lot about swapping L16 heads onto them for better highend power. not sure exactly though the specs of the modifications, or the engine when it's done. any modifications in mounting or timing of the engine i'll need to do? gen4maxima536
as far as changes in mounting or the timing, it would be exactly the same, but before you do it, some L20B heads should flow better than a 210 head, like the U67. info: http://www.the620.com/html/tech/head_ID_2.htm Quote Link to comment
fivetengarage
Make sure you get the flywheel. The L16 has 5 mounting holes.L20 has 6. Quote Link to comment
datsunon40s
L16 heads have smaller combustion chambers for more compression but also smaller valves so you have to weigh the pros and cons Quote Link to comment
