How much does a running l20 go for?

Sorry if this is an innapropriate place to ask but I. Will soon be in the market for an L20 and was wondering how much on average do they sell for? Thanks

depends on conditions of the motor and the seller. Take into count when it was last rebuilt, did you get to see it run or see a vid of it running prior to it being pulled? Has it been bored over? What head? Accessory's (alt/rad/dizzy/ ect.) ? Ive seen em go from $200 to $2000(robelo built) - I picked up a running L20b and 4 speed trans with a W58 head for $300 picked up.It had everything needed plus a few extra parts the PO didn't want anymore, but i didnt get to see it run so it was kind of a gamble

I paid 120 for mine, Complete. Carb to pan. Even had a weber.

 

It did require a new accell pump gasket, rear main, and it was points. But it was all there and running. Rustina is driving it as we speak.

i got mine for $510 completely rebuilt to stock with 5speed dogleg with a bunch of goodies but im buddies with the guy and he had to get rid of it asap! ;)

When I was selling mine a was asking around $200-250(can't member). New air filter, Burned oil, long tube headers(few small cracks), 280zx 5 speed that needed new clutch. And had video of it running, it was my daily driver until a started my Ka swap

I pain $100 for a built l18 with 40k mi on it that hadn't run since the 80's. Also got the trans and some sweet 620 fender flares for a 610 I don't even own!

 

But I am in MA and that can be a good thing because few people are looking for Datsuns out here.
