86 720
I'm looking for a round port exhaust manifold for my 78 L20B motor. I want to keep the stock manifold since it has an EGR bung that I'm finding difficult to find a plug for. Option is to weld it shut, however I'll be screwed if I ever need to re-sintall the EGR components. Quote Link to comment

budsaipan
Are you looking for aftermarket round port headers or stock? Quote Link to comment
86 720
Looking for aftermarket, but if there is none, would like to keep it stock. Heading over to Grainger in a bit to see if they have a plug for the stock header. Problem is the thread pitch, cant find a compatible plug. Quote Link to comment
EricJB
Do you have the original fitting that went in the hole? Cut it off, drill and tap it for NPT and plug it, then put it back in. Or weld it shut (the fitting, not the manifold). That way you can change it later if needed. Quote Link to comment
