46mm SUs on an L20B

Scored some Z round tops today, I was wondering if anybody has done the same. Need some tuning info. I had 2000 carbs on my 610 in the early 80s with no tuning on a stock L20B and it ran kinda rich, livened it up though. Then I built the car to ITB spec, cage included to this day, so I offed the manifold & carbs (what a dope!) Anyways, what nozzeles and needles should I be close to. I got the Weber 32/36 or whatever it is on now. Driving on the street primarly, 19 miles the last 3 years, so ITB is out now, looking at some increased stret performance cheap. Lookin to put together a good low end motor. Probably Z22 crank @ an 85mm bore, light cam, header. I just need some numbers for needles and nozzles that work well, what a ramble!

Thanx!

What needles are in the SUs now?

Most likely need some fatter ones due to the smaller displacement of the L20.

Have a manifold?

Stock 510/38mm SU linkage will not work.....L6 can be shortened to fit.

I have RN needles...very thin (rich)...not sure if they will work on my LZ23 yet
