Laecaon
An inline 6 in this car would disrupt the focus for building it. And stated earlier in thread-Subaru's version has been confirmed it soil be STi AWD/turbo. I didnt say inline... The subaru model is confirmed to have an STi model available with most likely the 2.5T motor. That said, What is not confirmed is that all of the Subaru trim levels will be AWD, primarily because of cost savings purposes. So again unless all of the trim models of the Subaru are AWD, subaru will no longer be able to claim all of their vehicles are AWD. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
I have read that too. But I have also read things from Fuji Heavy Ind. saying that they will not release it in anything less that an AWD. Quote Link to comment
HRH
What would've happened if Prince never joined Nissan? How are platforms being crossed when Toyota owns Subaru? Sounds more like resources are being shared. An inline 6 in this car would disrupt the focus for building it. And stated earlier in thread-Subaru's version has been confirmed it soil be STi AWD/turbo. Toyota only owns 16% of Subaru. And the difference is, Prince joined Nissan, end of Prince. Not Prince and Nissan joined and sold the same vehicle in different trim levels with different badges. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Prince still made cars after joining forces. L motor wouldn't be if Prince hadn't worked for Mercedes. Cross-platforms is a way of the industry. They would be soul-less even if it wasn't that way. Quote Link to comment
