Speed wobbles

Recommended Posts

Ok.'worked hard today and got a lot done, swapped out the old stock from suspension for my coilover kit 400lbs spring and nice billstein shocks, that got rid of all the positive camber and really stiffened the entire front end up real nice.

I haven't been able to drive it up to 55mph but I'm very confident it's fixed.

Now like I told many people, the motor was backfire and dying on me a lot so leaceon came over with his timin light and we tried to set the timing, well we couldn't find the notch on the pulley so instead we cleans the cap and point and adjusted the distributor and now she runs like a dream, everything smoothed right out and no more dying and back firing or anything

The base gasket and accelerator gasket were replaced. There really isn't a whole lot to do when rebuilding one of these.. look at the rebuild kit, it only has a few gaskets/parts to it. Probably get away with just taking the jets out, cleaning them, making sure the bowl is cleaned out real good.
