I have some pics of my rides. Im Looking for a truck. prefferably a 520 or 521.

I went to go check one out the other day but I still have to think if its worth spending $1500 on one that i have to restore Vs. Getting one already restored.

I have a 91 civic wagon RT4wd and a 98 Lexus Sc300.

Trucks are harder tp find in the N east. I have seen some Z cars, but not much trucks. I think the Pacific Coast got alot fo the trucks. Best of luck, there is a real nice 72 521 in Florida 4 sale but he wants like $7k for it...way way to much.

Heya Doodle, just noticed you were in NJ. Glad to have another member in the North East. (I am in MA) Datsun lovers are a rare breed around here! (Except for z's and roadsters.)

I really nice 320 has come up for sale in RI, but the seller wants 7K! That is crazy for a 320. I've rarely seen one sell for more than 4K. And those are usually the rarer NL 320's.

I got my 521 for $250, in NH but that was a lucky fluke for a pretty rust free example, from a gentleman who was retiring down to FLA.

There is a nice toyota stout for sale around here. Look one up and if you are interested in the style I will track down the info.

I look all the time in New England. I will give you a shout if something pops up.

BTW i dig your wagon!

91 civic? My friend has a 1985 Civic wagon 4wd. I didn't know they made them all the way till 1991. Those are rare.

My 350Z is no match for his Civic. (on ice) :D

Yea they made em up until 95 and sold them up till 96 in japan. Its funny you should mention that because one of my buddies has a 350Z and he called me this past winter to come pick him up when we had a lot of snow.

nice wagon my buddy in hawaii had one with a b16 4wd it was pretty damn quick

Wow Thats Fresh. doing a b series awd requires some fabbing because you have to use a cr-v trans, diff, a hybrid rear axle, a custom driveshaft and make a custom passenger side mount. I only know of one guy running a b series 4wd and he's out in the midwest.

AWWW man tell me about it. All i see are Z's znd 510's. I went to see a 521 in PA. took me 2 hours to get there. The guy told me that it only has a little rust on the fender. Come to find out it had rust on the rockers floor board and inner fender wells. yea its a common thing but the guy is asking 1800 for it and wasnt true about the condition.

I Pmed him about the truck in FL, he wants me to call him but im waiting to sell my lex before I buy a fully restored one.

FISCH! You are the man dude. You just lit up my face! I really like the stouts ever since I saw one. Please send me that info.

Im trying to score like you. Find a nice barn kept truck and keep it clean. I dont want to bag it or nothing I want to keep it all original. This is the prime example of how I would want to keep my classic japanese truck.

I spoke to that guy yesterday. Supposedly it is all original with a respray yet it has rust on the bottom of a fender. He took it to the head honcho of datsun in his area and the head honcho said it must have been a military person who was stationed in another country that brought it back because it has 2 steering boxes with the cutout for rhd on the other side.

Strange indeed! We have a few 320 experts on here, whatcha think guys? I know they made them pretty easy to switch on the 521 (Dash is switchable with the glovebox I think?) But two steering boxes is pretty interesting! But I don't know if it is '7k' interesting.:)
