im not sure if this has been brought up before, but i was reading the book Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, which has been made into a movie, and is a pretty good book. any ways, as i was reading, it starts to talk about the main character's car, a Datsun B210. It then goes on to talk about for a grad present, his father tried to buy him a brand new car, and he denied it, and actually got upset and said something close to "i cant believe they tried to buy me a new car, ive told them millions of times i have best car in the world, a car that has spanned the US, a car with thousands of miles and never had a single problem, a car i will never trade in." The story goes on and eventually he has to abandon the car in a flash flood. awhile later, park rangers find the car with the plates removed. they trace it back to the original owner, a rental company, and they said they sold it years ago and did not have any intentions of reclaiming it, so the rangers kept it as "a great car for drug interception." which is exactly what they did with it, and it uncovered many drug operations. One park ranger says, "were still getting a lot of mileage out of the car, put a few bucks of gas in it and it will go all day. its really reliable, and wonder why no one ever came to claim it."

i thought it was pretty cool, and here are some pictures. they are pretty small, i took them with my phone during class, but you can kind of read it.
