izzo Posted September 9, 2011 Report Share Posted September 9, 2011 I normally go two full turns out, the kind of work my way out. Once it fires up and warms up 100%. Turn in till it almost dies, then back out again. Once it runs smooth, go another half turn back... Done. Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz) Posted September 9, 2011 Report Share Posted September 9, 2011 1077 the adjustemnt is about the same as H2thizzo mentioned.weber or stock.ADJUST or ck your timming also But you could have all three if the valve lash is not correct and still wont fire. remember the later datsuns have a 12volt idle selenoid, so make sure thats hooked up if stock carb No 12volts you wont idle so no matter how much you adjust the mixture it isnt going to run Quote Link to comment
