And awesome you fell into Acer's marketing ploy, its not Acer that makes good stuff, it is Asus.

Yea that is what I was thinking, I remember all acer stuff being mostly garbage, I had to do a second take at that car to make sure lol. I ordered a new asus transformer tablet, can't wait to get it!

heard too many problems with asus, if i really wanted a nice laptop toshiba is were its at but for now it will be acer, marketing or not you dont end up on a ferrari unless your good.

I like my Acer Aspire. Never failed me yet, and I've had it for a year now. I also have an old early 90's Acer that still works lol

Acer Aspire? Is it the "Aspire One" ? If so careful about the hinge... Had 2 friends with those that the hinge broke the video cable to the monitor.

i love my little acer netbook, i use it when i travel at work. Not my main pc but it has served me well for almost 3 years.

I am running ubuntu on it though, made it alot faster and the wifi works better
