Powder coated valve cover

Just got this back from the powder people. What do you all think? It could use the "DATSUN" and "OHC" painted or sanded to aluminum.

 

If anybody wants to buy it I would sell it for 50 bucks with shipping included. If you are a PDX Vancouver person I would sell it for 35$ It has a couple of small blems from the powder coater but it looks pretty nice.

Looks good! You need to use more gasket sealer on that fuel pump block off plate tho:blink: The valve cover would look good with tha lettering silver.

Yeah....the lettering would look good hi-lighted. I was just wanting to see what one would look like coated.

 

I am going to sand-blast the other 4 covers I have and get them done in a couple different colors.

 

If anybody is interested in buying one let me know and I will do what I can...I have 2 each Datsun and Nissan.

If they put the PC on thick enough, you can actually wet sand and polish the PC just like paint......to get rid of the blems.

Who did it? Mr. Powder coat did mine and sanded/polished the letters for me, it was also done in the factory black wrinkle finish(l6 turbo). Don't know what kind of color options they have but Mr. Powdercoat had hundreds. peace.
