S13 SR20DE

Guys, I'm being offered an S13 SR20DE which is already in a 510. He is tired of the SR and wants to swap in an SR20DET, instead. He is wants to sell me everything; the complete engine, wire harness (already wired for a 510) and tranny. The engine is in good condition and with good compression. He has it running in his car and it revs and runs real strong. I looked in the internet to see what they go for but I could not find any solid figures. I don't want to pay too much nor do I want to screw my friend.

Well did he tell you around how much he wants for it? Id say $1200-1800. Try calling Venus in Nor Cal to see if they have any and to compare prices

They do not have any NA SR's.

Well an SR20DET goes for about 1700. id say probably about 1,000-1,400 to be honest. umm look up zerolift autolab in fairfield, ohio and ask them what they would charge for one just to get a price.

i used to buy whole s13 de swaps for like 650

if its already set up fr a dime and runs good give him 1200 just stripping the harness of non essential's and lengthening it takes a couple hours

I'm going to see the engine tomorrow. He already has it pulled and it's sitting in his garage. I'll take a good look at everything and we'll go from there. I was also thinking in the 1-1.2k range since it is wired for a 510. Thanks again to all of you for your input.

 

I plan on putting this engine in a 510 that my brother lost interest in or in my current '75 620 project.
