dvboth
Thriller In Willard July 30th It's time for another jaunt up the gorge to the tiny town of Willard...and I mean TINY! Be sure to pack food and drink, chairs or a blanket to lounge on, and your camera. There is some beautiful scenery along the way. It's gonna be a scorcher so keep that in mind and bring lots of water and sunscreen etc. We'll meet at the Grand Central Fred Meyer at 9:30 and leave from there at 10:00. We'll travel about 60 miles to Willard, stop for picnic lunch and photo ops, do some running around some local roads, and then head back to Vancouver. If you went last year, you know how much fun it is to cruise those paved mountain roads! See you on the 30th! Maps available when we meet...although it's pretty tough to get lost on this cruise! Address for the Fred Meyer is: 2500 Columbia House Boulevard, Vancouver, WA. Click here to open a PDF with a map and information Pretty simple to find but for those of you who don't live in Vancouver, just cross the I-5 bridge going north, take the VERY FIRST EXIT off the end of the bridge. That exit says "Camas". You'll head east on Hwy 14 at that point. Take the very next exit off Hwy 14 and stay in the left lane. Drive under the freeway and continue about 1/4 mile and you will see the Fred Meyer on your left. You'll be back in time for evening cruises!!! Dave Quote Link to comment
