skunk
i used to work for 3m, myself (and redeye) did skibs hood. doing the whole truck would be hard. Some vinyl can be fairly cheep. BUT for what your wanting to do your going to need a vinyl that likes to stretch and bend. And the cheep ones dont do that. alot of it you could do your self, but some spots are going to be hard even for someone that knows what they are doing. and seeing that the vinyl you need is not cheep you dont really want to be trying the same spot more then once. so i would say have somone help you do this if your going to. for the vinyl itself and paying someone to do it you could almost just pay someone to paint it. dat77sun
it would be about cheaper to paint it, like skunk said doing a whole vehicle in vynil can be a pain in the ass 1 Quote Link to comment
skunk
the more i think about it the more i think i could do it. it would be a pain in the ass, but it could be done. it would be easier if you did it in a two tone like the real BRE paint job. that way you could do the wrap in more cuts and hide the seams with the lines. but im in portland and i dont have vinyl i still say just paint it. Diesel33g
I used to work for Modern Image (Auto Wrapping) and wrapped a few cars for Falken, I recommend getting it done professionally or as mentioned earlier painting it on. Quote Link to comment
