RevMag Posted June 11, 2011 Report Share Posted June 11, 2011 Hey everybody, so I've been trying to find 280zx struts for a little while for my Goon, and I don't really want to have to pay for shipping them here (super budget build.) I've looked at all the local salvage yards with no luck. BUT there is a 280Z. My questions are:: Are 280Z and 280ZX suspension the same, I've read other threads that have hinted that they are. The part that needs to be compared is the steering knuckle, which has a different ball joint and a different bolt pattern for mounting to the strut, therefore it won't swap onto a 510 knuckle or ball joint.
