calistile
Any idea what this part is? It's the last place I can identify on the motor that has an oil leak. I think it's pretty straightforward to remove, but not so sure. Can I pickup at a local parts store? Quote Link to comment
zerow
Oil pressure sending unit. Easy to remove? sure. Use an open ended wrench up against the block. Some Teflon tape will seal it right up. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Yes the local parts shop has one (they are a fairly universal part). I too had to replace mine as it was pushing oil out of the electrical connector. Quote Link to comment

I too had to replace mine as it was pushing oil out of the electrical connector. Cool. That's exactly what's going on here. At least from what I can see. I'll take the part out and bring to my local parts store. Then I'll take the advice and also wrap with a coat of teflon tape for extra seal. Thanks guys! Quote Link to comment

calistile
Purchased a new one, wrapped the threads with teflon, and installed. Just realized that NAPA is my new best friend! Quote Link to comment
