Some have clips on the boot. Just take of the clips and or spring and smudge some extra grease inside and resemble. Is this an autozone part? Mine were the same. I was not so confident in them so I swapped them out.

Moog right? I order a compleat front set and one of the tie rod ends looked identical to the one you show here but the rest of the kit looked like the typical moog part with the zerk fittings and castle nuts rather than a nylock. I called moog and they had no decent explanation for the miss matched part but they had no problem replacing the part with one to match the others.

^^^I would assume the typical white lithium grease. You should be able to find it at any parts store or even possibly Wal-mart.

I don't understand why they would send you the zerk.? Do they expect you to drill and tap it?

thanks!! my first time so i dont understand..just gonna do it and see what happens
