schicksal
Hi everyone I have a L28et that I want to swap into my 280z. I am missing the fuel rail on the turbo engine and I have been wondering if the 280z fuel rail will work. I don't think it will because of the injectors on the turbo engine are larger so the fuel rail must be to. Please let me know if I answered my own question thanks. Quote Link to comment
SHADY280
from what i have seen they are the same. the fuel pump is what is different. it produces more volume potential Quote Link to comment
yellowdatsun
A regular fuel rail and regulator should be fine. The injectors are different though. Quote Link to comment
Bleach
Yup, same fuel rail. Ideally you do want the fuel pressure regulator for a turbo 280ZX on there. Or aftermarket if you can't find an OEM one used. Quote Link to comment

PurePontiacKid
there actually IS a difference, not a big one, just that the turbo rail doesn't have a provision for a cold start injector, the NA ones do, so you'll have to find a way to plug that part of your turbo motor if you're running the Turbo intake manifold ;) Quote Link to comment
