BitBandit
My plans for this little guy are get the back dropped 2-3 inches to match the front then shorten up my bump stops. Install the KA24DE that I am picking up next weekend Get some new rubber for my new wheels and get them installed. That's the list for now. Here it is when I brought it home. The "new" wheels I picked up for it. 17" Titan wheels if you don't know. With and with out the ugly bumper. Quote Link to comment
skunk
cool little 620, when are you going to start the engine swap?? Quote Link to comment
izzo
That KA from a truck or car? Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
You gonna put a Subi LSD in it..? Quote Link to comment
BitBandit
Its a truck KA, I am not sure when the swap will start, Its my daily driver currently since my blazers fuel pump took a dump and I do not feel like dealing with it currently. I also need to track down and ECU and wiring harness still. as far as the LSD its lower on the list, I trust the kid that says he has one in there. Quote Link to comment
skunk
i miss my reg cab 620 :( Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
I've been told it's better to use the wiring harness and ECU from a 240sx w/ an KA24DE, even if the engine came from a truck. Apparently, the truck wiring harness is part of the body wiring harness, and thus quite a pain to work with. On top of that, the 240sx's are far more plentiful.;) Quote Link to comment
BitBandit
I bid on a 240sx KA24de harness and ECU on ebay. I have read about differences between the 91-94 240's and the 95-98 240's. the one i bid on is a 91-94. I kinda bid before I did all my homework but I am the winning bidder currently but am kind of hoping I get out bid in case this harness is not the right one. I plan on doing the 240sx intake swap if i can find one. Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Easy to find part. Go with the S14 intake if you can; the intake butterfly valves have been deleted. Quote Link to comment
BitBandit
I picked up my KA24DE today. The hunt for an ECU and wiring harness begins. who needs drop blocks when you can just put a motor in the bed? Here is a shot of the motor and trans. Quote Link to comment
BitBandit
Installed my drop blocks, i need to take the front down a little more now. My new tires showed up yesterday so i will be getting those mounted to my 17's and put on my truck. I also got a 240sx Intake, wiring harness, and ECU. so time to get swapping intakes and getting ready for the motor swap. I also picked up some actuators from the junk yard so i can add power locks. polski ogorki
Nice rig Bandit! I look forward to your progress. I vote don't paint it she looks awesome! Rich Quote Link to comment
BitBandit
Got my wheels and tires mounted and installed on the truck. I really need to get the front lowered a bit to match the rear. I found its a lot easier to turn with these tires on, i was thinking it was going to be harder since they are wider than what i had on there. now its time to order the disk brake conversion goodies. uieluck
BitBandit, do you have any good suggestions to order engines from (a KA?). I'm located in Denver, I look local all the time. But 93% of peeps around here drive Subies or Audies. Sweet, looking Titans! Quote Link to comment
BitBandit
I lucked out and didn't have to look for one as I got mine from a friend. Quote Link to comment

BitBandit
Well I got my front lowered down, but I have not taken and pictures of it yet. but do not fear I started my motor swap and I do have come pictures of that. I just got the motor out should be starting to put the KA in next weekend. I need to go get a few items still MAF, Fuel pump, and a few other small items. I am sure I will need more. This is my first motor swap so I am learning as I go. Drained the coolant. looks a little dirty to me. The motor waiting to be unbolted from the transmission. Motor out. Quote Link to comment
