Rob's Lame 620 Almost Restoration

STEP 7. After what seems like forever all the parts finally came for the carb.

 

So got the old one off

That was a lot of fun that bolt on the front passenger side is super fun. And after a fairly uneventful installation here she is with new lungs

I wondered also does any one know if I can remove this thing

It looks like I can unbolt it from the manifold cut a gasket and make a cove plate for it.

 

So I'll tell you I don't know if the old carb was jacked up seriously or not but I do know that Weber carb makes a HUGE difference.

 

Anyone want some smog bits its all coming off tomorrow. I'll make you a great deal on the whole bunch of it. wink.gif

Try to find an early intake from a 71/73 510,72/74 620. And if you can a 510 exhaust manifold works like a header if you have a square port head
