Conan
My rat is leaking tranny fluid from the connection between the tranny and driveline (right by the 4 bolts that connect the driveline on the tranny side) right below the gear shifter. I was just wondering what part number/name of the seal that i need so that i can order a new one from RA, and will i also need a new bearing? Thx in advance :) Quote Link to comment
DanielC
I forgot who posted this link yesterday, but I would suggest you bookmark it> http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsun520/Datsun520521Index.aspx This is the page with the transmission case in it. http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsun520/Datsun520521Index/PowerTrain/TransmissionCase/FromOct65/tabid/1456/Default.aspx The seal I think is item 18, down below the pictures. Clicking on the number listed for the seal, gives you this page. http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsun520/Datsun520521Index/PowerTrain/TransmissionCase/FromOct65/tabid/1456/Default.aspx 32136-07200 Or it might be, 32136-E0100 Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
place in England. Datsunworld or something like thatIm sure its common with the other old datsuns like a Z car also http://www.datman.co.uk/ you got to remove the drive line.so you go to loosen up the carrier bearing. I believe there is a bug hex nut that needs to be removed to pull the 4 bolt flange off. its alot of work for a 5 min job replacing the seal. Quote Link to comment
