DanielC
There are three wiring harnesses in a 521. Do you need them all? Link to comment
'70 521 L16
Yeh. Engine comp. Is by far the worst. It's operable at the moment but further on down it'll be way easier to fix with a new one. P.o. had it torn up pretty badly all over though. I might settle for just the engine comp. though. d510addict
I have both but I'll need to look around for a accurate price. Link to comment
VW Datsun guy
do you need the whole door or just the glass? Link to comment
'70 521 L16
just the up/down glass, not even the vent one. would a 510 harness be doable? it seems like no one has 521 ones anymore. :'( Link to comment
Laecaon
I really doubt a 510 harness will work. Link to comment
DanielC
The engine parts of the harness might be electrically the same, but the components would be in a different location. The headlight circuits on the two vehicles are about as different as you possibly could make them. Just two examples, on a 510 harness, two headlight fuses, and the headlights are wired always hot, and are switched, and dimmed on the ground side of the headlights. On a 521 harness, there is only one headlight fuse, and the hot side of the headlights is switched, and dimmed. Link to comment
baja4
Don't want to jump in front of anyone, but I have a complete truck I'm parting out that has a complete harness. Was a running, driving truck before I took the interior out. More than wiling to remove the harness. Can get pictures tomorrow if wanted. Also have the glass. Link to comment
DanielC
Just a suggestion, fill the empty space with four cylinder L-series fuel injection intake manifolds, and fuel injection heads. Link to comment
