Topher88
When I purchased my 510 it was in pieces and now that I am attempting to put it back together and really am not sure what bolts I need. I have done a little bit of searching but when I was re building my chevelle they sold kits of all the types of bolts needed and was wondering if there is a similar kit fr my 510. If not are there any books that gibe blow ups of each part and specs of the bolts needed for that part? Idk I'm just a little stuck on this and not to sure what do. Any suggestions would be great. I'm also tempted to just start stripping old Z's at the yards if they have similar bolts to the 510 Quote Link to comment
DanielC
I do not know about 510's, but 521 body bolts are all American thread. Fender bolts, are 1/4-28, with a 7/16 head Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Bolts should be metric. M6 is quite often found. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
Just remember that the stainless bolts are not necessarily as strong as the originals, some of which are high-strenght bolts. Nissan models use mostly British threads until January 1967, when in the middle of the month they adopted JIS metric standards across the board, starting with the R16, H20 and H30 engines. Thereafter the metric system was "adopted for all the screw threads of engine, chassis and body of Nissan's vehicle when:" 1. Model is change. 2. New unit is adopted. 3. New model is produced. Although some parts still remained Standard threads (e.g. R16 cylinder head bolts). Quote Link to comment
