Datsun calipers for 510 struts.

Just checking what calipers will bolt onto my 70 510 wagon struts.

will the 710 or 200sx calipers work? They have the drop in style pads. They look the same but I don't want to buy them if they wont work...;)

Thanks....I saw a thread about this sometime ago, but could not find it?..:(

The 710 is a 76 and the 200sx is a 79.

.

In september 1975 the 710 calipers changed ......... .. I have the early '75 calipers and they are similar to 510 calipers

But the '76 calipers will probably have different shaped pads....... .. and I don't know if that will work

1971 510 caliper and rotor on the left ............. .. (pre-09/75) Early 1975 710 caliper and rotor on the right ..... (rotors have a larger center bore)

Maxima on the left . . . . .. . ... .. 1976 710 on the right ........ you can see the whole caliper is totally different than a early 75 caliper:

My info says Aug. '75 was when the difference started. (I know, hair splitting)
