Keithj
I dig it. I am too afraid to cut into my fenders for the flares but it will look boss with some good rims and tires. With the bearings going on my 210's transmission I look to pick a KA soon and use your awesome thread as reference. Been a while since you posted whats good? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
I think you can lower the stock front anti-sway bar. Just use some spacers between the front bar mounts. Too bad the yard cut the rear anti-sway bar. Quote Link to comment
Davec
Did you get a measurement on the 83 200sx diff? How wide was it? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
1983 200SX rear axle is 54" wide. The 1984 version is about 2 inches wider. Quote Link to comment
datso
Highly impressed with this combination and would win hands down over any Ford Escort Twin CAM mk1 or Mk2 same wheelbase as the 310 but this thing is like a 1/5 of the price and surely much faster! congratulations Quote Link to comment

Too bad the yard cut the rear anti-sway bar. Yep, tried that already... I cut some hard UHMW that fit right up in the frame anf had the same notch for the bushings to go into and everything, but then found that the sway bar hits the front TC rods if lowered... :crying: I've got quite a few random swaybars laying around anf plan to bend one to my liking soon. I'll post up picks when I do! Highly impressed with this combination and would win hands down over any Ford Escort Twin CAM mk1 or Mk2 same wheelbase as the 310 but this thing is like a 1/5 of the price and surely much faster! congratulations Thanks Buddy! BURLEIGH
Well, I bent up a new anti-sway bar for the front the other day, but it needed a little tweeking to fit just perfect. So, I took it over to the press to bend it a hair more and decided that I didn't need to put it back in the forge for that because I really didn't want to re-temper the whole thing again...... Well, it ended up in three pieces!!! LOL!!! That will teach me to second guess myself. I knew it would happen, but for some dumb reason I thought that I could get away with it... HAHA! So... I guess I'll start over. No biggie, It was my first anti-sway bar and I learned a LOT while teaching my son a bit about metalurgy in the process, so not all is lost. :-) I'll post up pics of the busted one and a new one when done... BTW, I'm considering putting a few finishing touches on this bad boy and then putting it up for sale... Any thoughts on value guys??? Thanks! Richard Quote Link to comment

BURLEIGH
BTW, I did get the front sway bar sorted out ( I just fount one that was close and re-bent it to fit. Works great!) and I made custom mounts for the rear sway bar that came on the H190 diff... Made a HUGE difference in handling. Quote Link to comment

Just noticed the flares on the last page, have you done anything with those yet? : ) I may have to make a run to Arkansas soon haha Quote Link to comment
BURLEIGH
Hey man! Nah, I sold the flares... They were for an s30 and I would had to cut them up quite a bit to work. I decided to let someone with a Z use them... Quote Link to comment

ComicArtist
Aww :( I don't like the way my eBay flares fit in the front haha, I need a set of MSA flares. I'll take you up on that beer though, I'll take the s30 on a road trip as soon as I finish up the suspension Quote Link to comment
