i heard that that they made heads for the 4 cylinder L series engines and how hard is it to find one and would i have to modify the low end of the motor to make it not implode thanks in advance

Not too sure about the 4 cylinder engine. I can call him on Monday, my shop does a lot of work with him.

I have never heard they made heads but do port and polish heads and do build engines. I have a rebello motor and it runs nice and is solid and makes good power. Dave Rebello does good work and is honest and realistic to the end users needs.

yeah thats kinda what im afraid of but your right alot of people will build anything for the right price

Just as a point of reference, I had Dave build my Turbo U20 motor and it was like 3K. That was machining/assembling the whole engine with all the tricks for making them last. This also included extras like custom forged pistons, o-ring the block, custom ground cam, and full street porting/valve job, etc. Did not include the very pricey timing set/oil pump/gasket set. Overall, I did not think the price was much more than a good machine shop would charge. He also saved my ass by finding a cracked crank that a different machine shop missed! The knowledge is worth a little bit extra. How much would it have cost to have had to redo the damage from a busted crank?
