window channel felt

Hi there ratsuners, I do beleave I found a source for window channel felt for our 520&521 pickups, I bought this felt in the late 90s, and I found it today while looking around for another part, I put it in one side(empty) of my 521KC door and rolled it up and down, it seemed to work fine. I have not done a complete door yet. The down side is it is not cheap, it's for my 1967 datsun roadster, it came from rallye enterprizes and is currently available #802-24, for $40.00 you would get enough for one door, the 521 needs about 80". The piece they sell is enough for the both doors on the roadster, it has little doors. The piece I bought is 102" long. Has anyone tried this felt? wayno

by far the best thing to fix for noise etc.

the 510 material is about the same $$$$ comes in a roll and will do 2 doors, w/scraps

ill get the width of it later

Is the 510 felt made the same way, little tubes on both sides next to a crease where it folds 90% so it fits in the channel? wayno

OK, I don't know the order these are in, but two are of stock felt, and two are of the roadster channel felt, each one with glass and without glass. The stock felt without glass is a so-so oic; I couldn't get the camera to focus properly. I will get the roadster felt in my 521KC drivers door in the next couple weeks and let eveyone know how it works. wayno
