tranny seals

:blink:so i gots this dogleg 5 speed in my truck and i need to replace a couple seals in the shifter housing and i need a blown up schematic of it to figure out what i need to make an order to nissan.anyone got a schematic?:mellow:

Someone sent me some schematics but I'll be damned if I can find where I put them. I even checked my recycle bin.:D Do you have a picture of the leak? Could it be the speedo pinion?

its in the shifter when i go threw the gears it kicks gear fluid into the housing where the shifter knob slides into all the others i have seen have been dry the whole tunnel is soaked with gear fluid but rear seal is dry and speedo is dry:blink:

I've got the dogleg rebuild section from the 79/80 510 FSM as a pdf if anyone needs it. i just don't have anywhere to host it.

I found the link the other week while browsing Ratsun. I read his article on windshield wiper assembly repair and maintenance. You will probably find a schematic or better.

 

I'm thinking I don't have the name right, but DatzenMike and Skib have a history with the site and the Datsun aficionado who maintains the site.
