dedrick
Greetings all! I have been lurking for a few months, finally got around to posting now that I'm actually working on my 620. I have a 1976 long bed that I bought three years ago, and haven't touched until recently. I'm in the process of doing all the body work right now with the help of a friend who is a former Nissan tech and body shop guy, and getting it ready for paint. I hope to have some pictures of the panels and things soon. This is my first time doing body work, but, I'm proud of it so far. Sadly, the engine is long gone, but, I had always planned on getting something better in there. Right now, the plan is to drop an SR20DET into it. We're currently building it very slowly, it's just a weekend project. I just wanted to say hello, and that I've been reading everything, and really admire the love you guys have for these little Datsun trucks, and that the camaraderie on this forum and advice has been excellent. Here's a pic of it's current state. Anything not pictured has already been removed, straightened, bondo'ed, sanded, primered, and bedlined if needed. And this is how she looked when I got her Anyway, I hope to get to know everyone a little better, and help out any way I can! Quote Link to comment
