Drive510
There was a white Datsun that was just featured on SpeedHunters a while back that Mike Garret did a story on. Wonder if the owner is on here. Welcome though. I'm still a noob as well. Quote Link to comment

Rhapakatui
They never die naturally. They must be killed... by car crushers and occasionally demolition derbys. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
They never die naturally. They must be killed... by car crushers and occasionally demolition derbys. Worse ways to go. Drift car.... only a mater of time really. Skill only takes you so far and luck................................................................... always, runs out. Unfinished project. Lack of skills, lack of money, lack of planning, lack of interest, lack of knowledge. Big plans, aim too high. Chevy 454 V8, RB26TT, VG30DETT, 280zx turbo. Car has hole cut into it to fit motor, project folds, car is now ruined and cannot be saved, can't sell what is left, sits in back yard and slowly sinks into the septic field. Is it any wonder we tell kids they are idiots to "do that."? Hopefully they will leave something of their 510s for the next generation. Quote Link to comment
Rhapakatui
I know that one from experience. I didn't know what drifting was til a few tears later, but my first 620 died when I was sliding sideways around a curve and met one of the light company pole trucks on the other side. Second one died when I lost interest in cars at age 19. Third one is currently disassembled awaiting a very ambitious makeover..... well, I guess I've learned PART of my lesson anyways...:) Quote Link to comment
