How to remove door trim?

Does anyone know how to remove door trim from a B310? Or any other trim for that matter.. I want to be very through with my upcoming paint job.

 

 

 

 

BTW, I know there was a thread on this once before, but I couldn't seem to find it, so don't crucify me.

Exterior.. hold on and I'll see if I can find the oic.

 

Here we go:

 

It's the trim just below the window. That chrome trim that is right above the mirror.

yep, just slip a table knife or putty nife in between the panel and door, and slide it up/down until you hit the clip. Then carefully pry it off where the clip is. The long 2-door panels have about five clips in it

Is all the trim attached the same way?

Only the side panel trims. The pillar trims is just held on by the welting.

yeah ,,, :hmm: ,,,I have never had the stuff come off the way I want it too , but I try to be super careful that way :D

Yeah I screwed up a few of the clips for the door panels already

 

My car leaked water, so It was all soggy and moldy and it kinda went byebye :(

 

 

Anyways, thanks for the advice!! I'll see what i can do and update if I have any problems.
