drift truck

this is my combination of a datsun and a ram 50

well i was doing this truck a few years ago to bag and daily drive it. well i took my rear end in to get new seals and stuff and the shop got rid of it. i was pissed. so its been sitting for a couple years without a rear end and stuff. so i just got a parts 521 and didnt need it anymore, so i hacked off the rear frame, and merged it with the ram 50. it wont be bagged, but will be low, with a 15inch rim and a semi lo pro tire. it will have the g54b in it still, planning on a weber 38/38 soon. it has the balance shaft removed and also the jet valves. it has a high volume oil pump also. and a header. well i running short on time, so ill just post the oic's

how far away are you again? also answers my question if you were gonna use the 521 cab and Ram box, or vice versa...we know which way you swing now mhmm!

Radio

its a 7 hour drive from me to you.. about a 3 hr drive if we meet t the border again. the truck has been stretched about 2 feet longer. so it wont be geting a box. we have been thinking about "skinning" the rear frame, with a hinge right before the rear end so if we need to do stuff to the rear end it would be easier. it will also have trailor fenders on the rear, we call them floating fenders here cuz we will weld them to the rear end, and they will travel with the wheels. as for interior. just a seat and a steering wheel and a few switches. there will be virtualy no wiring. just a couple wires to the coil and a couple to the starter. thats it.

haha radio well i got the ramsun project and bruiser right now.. the ramsun is just to keep me busy, not a very important build. the bruiser, well idk how much work i will do to it. i think i will just drive it, the only project is to keep it daily driving :( now my slave cylinder went out in it lol. the other project... purple nissan (precious) got sold a while back, the vw is my fathers. but i do most of the work. was supposed to be mine, but we changed minds, and its his now. i will be doing a few jobs for friends here soon like a paint job and body work, and body kit on a 95 subaru impreza, also help him build a motor for it. will also be acquiring a 96 mazda millenia (whenever i go pick it up) for free in pretty good shape, minus the blown motor. i will only be picking that up if i can find a motor at a decent price.

so you ask what projects i have right now? just the ramsun project.

well i finally got the frame braced where i welded the 2 trucks together. also put in a new cross member. got the brake line work done. we now only have front brakes, and the rear lines are plugged at the master, and the lines are removed. the fuel lines are also all taken out. along with the e-brake assembly. it was a one piece type thing with the gas pedal so it took a few minutes. also got the stock motor mounts welded up so there solid. still thinking about making custom mounts. today guna finish up the frame bracing, and maybe start new motor and trany mounts

I'm close. I need wiring help bad!!!! Having issues with the distributor. It's been a long road, slow going when you got so many things to do and other places to spend the dough. I'm really thinking I'm gonna button things up with that union bonus in November.
