Under the cap the rotor starts at the number one and turns counter clockwise to 3 then 4 then 2 and back to 1. RAD 1 2 3 4 WINDSHIELD Set the motor to TDC on the firing stroke and lift the cap off. The rotor should be below the #1 spark plug wire. Going counter clockwise the next wire is 3 then 4 then 2 and back to one. Quote Link to comment

They mean next to the #1 trust me. If the plug wires are not in the 1342 order you will get flames. Quote Link to comment
