720 column in 620

Hello all you wonderful Datsun gurus! I'm new here, and the time has come to do your civic duty. No, not that one, your mind is in the gutter. I'm talkin' about helping a noob (like myself) by providing some insight on the challenges of swapping a 720 steering column into a 620. I know I can handle the wiring, but are there any other hang-ups? Can I keep my old ignition switch? During my research on this site, I found useful tidbits, but nothing very substantial. If some one's posted a write up, it must be camoflauged. Most of the details I found are in regards to doing a power steering box into 620, which I will do eventually, but one step at a time? Everytime I've asked for advice here, it's always been thorough and timely. One day I'll have the elusive answer to one of your problems, but for now...ANY insight you can provide regarding this project will be greatly appreciated!

You will have to change gear box or mod the existing gear box like my brother did for my 520.

datsun mike put a 720 dash and stuff into a 620 also... im sure he will chime in on this soon
