RustyRat4x4
I have been looking at posts and manuals and have gotten all three upper screws in the gauge openings out, the heater knob ends off. There must be a hidden bolt somewhere or something I'm missing. My Haynes manual talks of a lower bolt under the dash that holds the cluster in, I can't find anything under there. Am I blind? Should it jump out at me like a snake from the bushes? . Pic's of retaining bolts location or tricks for gauge removal would be appreciated..Heck, any help is appreciated.... 420n620
on the right side of the steering column is a flasher thats being held in by a philips screw which is holds the gauge cluster, also I believe you need to remove the cigar lighter. pic's if u need then, just LMK Quote Link to comment
RustyRat4x4
Thanks for the info. I've seen that one, had to replace the flasher when I got the truck back road worthy (parked since '92 says the old plate)... I'll get 'er done when I get home.. Quote Link to comment

RustyRat4x4
haven't gotten around to it yet, sorry.. It's been on jack stands for the summer; trying to find some working e-brake cables for when I need to use my E-brake on the hill this fall. Quote Link to comment
